Getting to school should be the easiest part of your day. That's why we've designed our transportation system to cover nearly every corner of Mussoorie, reaching 80% of our MBIIS family's homes. We carefully plan our routes each year, considering everyone's needs while ensuring both efficiency and affordability.
School Life Guidelines: Creating a Safe and Structured Environment
During School Hours
We care about your child's safety, so:
- Your written permission is essential for any mid-day departures
- For our boarding students, we ask for a 10-day advance notice before planned leaves
- This helps us ensure every student is accounted for and safe
Attendance Matters
We believe in making every school day count:
- Regular attendance helps build a strong foundation
- Vacation extensions are considered for special circumstances
- We appreciate your support in maintaining consistent attendance
- A small fine of Rs. 500 per day applies for delays after holidays to encourage punctuality
Educational Adventures
Learning extends beyond our campus:
- Join us for exciting educational tours in April/October
- These trips are carefully planned to blend learning with fun
- Every student participates in these enriching experiences
Welcoming Our Visitors
We love having our MBIIS families involved:
- Parents are welcome on second Saturdays (10 AM - 4:30 PM)
- For other visits, a quick heads-up to our Principal helps us prepare
- For your child's safety, we require proper identification from all visitors
- Our office team is here to help on working days (9 AM - 4 PM)
Special Notes for Parents
To keep our learning environment focused:
- We encourage scheduling social events outside school hours
- Written permission is needed for any early departures
- Re-admission after unexplained absences requires a fresh process
- We maintain these guidelines to ensure every student gets the most from their MBIIS experience
